I'm a civil engineer. I had my industrial training in Colombo Port city development project. It was a newly built land by sand filling in the sea. This photo shows you the Artificial beach of the city. The sand seiving machine is to seive the large particles and unnecessary particles from the beach sand. After the sand sieving, it gives good looking and very comfortable feeling to the feet.
This is the first artificial beach in my country and I'm glad to have experiences in this kind of uncommon project.
