The great OMG pump was not caused by the halving of Bitcoin but the acceptance of it being tradable to the Coinbase Pro accounts.

This has caused a sudden pump of almost twice of the original price.

Coinbase Pro accounts will be able to begin inbound transfers of OmiseGo on 18 May 2020 (Monday). It may start to be tradable the following day on or after 9 AM Pacific Time based on the liquidity conditions.

The All-Time Low was $0.35 on 13 March 2020 and the All Time High was $25.62 on 13 Jan 2018.

It was only around $0.63 on 12 May but it went up to about $1 at the point of this post.

It has gone up by 35.53% and there is a big chance for it to go even higher before 18 May 2020.

My Personal Thought

The pumping may start to stablise a few day after 18 May 2020.

It could be a good time to buy but we are not buying at its lower rate.

OmiseGo does have solid backing behind it so it can be a good long term investment in my personal humble opinion.

I did a small purchase of about 81 OMG tokens so if the pumping is really good, I may just sell it for some quick profit.

If it did not go as well as expected, I just need to hodl for future profit as long as I do not have panic selling.

As the professional investors would have advised us to invest what we can afford to lose and not our bread and butter.

I am not sure whether I had made the best investment but there is probably going to be a nice pumping based on past history when a coin is listed on Coinbase.

The price during pumping may not be the lasting price so investing in it would need to be really careful since we do not know when it may drop.

Thanks for reading my short reflection about the pumping of OMG.
