Coinbase has just announced its decision to support the upcoming Spark airdrop.
Coinbase will take a snapshot on 12 December 2020 for customers who are holding to their XRP tokens.
The more XRP tokens that one holds, the more Spark tokens one can get.
Coinbase will disable sending and receiving of XRP temporarily to facilitate the snapshot accuracy.
Spark token is the utility token of the Flare network.
Flare Network integrates the Ethereum Virtual Machine that can be useful for businesses and entrepreneurs since it has a token with low volatility that aims to maintain a stable price making it more affordable for the general public.
Spark can be used as collateral that makes it more than just a governance token.
Flare network will enhance XRP by bringing smart contracts to the XRP ledger resulting in greater flexibility.
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse believes that it would further diversify the use of XRP network with greater use and moving it further forward.
The trust and confidence for the new Flare Network are backed by Ripple that is an investor in Flare Network.
With Ripple as the investor, one can easily see the potential of the Flare Network.
