Hello, gamers!
In the last post, I reached diamond after a long session of 2 hours where a stranger stayed much longer just to see me reach diamond.
Since then I was afraid to play any more ranked 2v2 cause I was afraid I will go back to Plat III but today I came over my fear and played more games. It was a blast, I not only maintained my diamond rank but climbed up to division 3. Now I think, I belong to this rank.
I no longer fear getting back to Plat any time soon. But we all have those tilting days I just have to stay away from those haha.
So, I streamed my game on Twitch and also uploaded the VOD on Youtube. Here is the youtube video of my 2-hour long session.
In this video, I played at least 10 ranked 2v2 games.
Well, I play all matches 1v1, 2v2 or 3v3 but rarely the 4v4 chaos modes. Good that we don't have 4v4 in competitive mode. But my favourite one is 2v2. It feels like a perfect mode for the size of the arena, not too open/empty and not too crowded at the same time, just the way I like that. You can play strategically with 2v2 easily. 1v1 is not my cup of tea. Mostly because I suck at that...lol
The first game was a bad game for me. I scored no goal but still was a very close one. The score was 2-2 until 30 seconds and then they scored and we couldn't score any more goals. So, we lost by just 1 goal at the end. Not a horrible start but still could have been much better.
I came back strongly in the second game and won easily. After the match clock hit zero. We had 2 goals lead. We won 4-2 in this game.
In the next game, I went AFK for a few seconds and we conceded an easy goal due to my mistake. This made my teammates mad and they did not contribute to the game. I had to abandon that game as he was not playing just moving randomly in the field haha.
I was still in Diamond I div II. I had a buffer of some games before I go back to Plat.
I won't talk about each game, but it was a great session. I played well in most of the games. But still, diamond is a bit competitive for my skills. So, didn't manage to win as many as I wanted but it was a positive growth.
I ended with a 4-2 win that took me to the next division. I finished Diamond I div III. Just div IV and then Diamond II. Happy that I made some progress and now I won't fear dropping down.
