Here's the IPFS interface that I created a while ago to upload files to the network. My server will automatically pin whatever you upload via this interface. But, that bonus feature might go away soon because the server only has 20GB left of space. So, I only use it for small video files and images that I share on GWO.

My server knows when something has been uploaded to IPFS by scanning every Hive block. Whenever you upload something via this interface you also broadcast a custom_json to Hive. That broadcast includes:

• filename
• cid
• size
• mime
