Scientists plan to drill into Earth's mantle for the first time.
Now don't get me wrong, i'm all for the progress of science but how on earth do they think its a good idea to drill into the earth mantle of which no doubt controls our magnet poles and gravity? This of course cant be proven but what happens if it is? What happens if we "Put Out" the earths core buy adding water to it thus immediately destroying all like on earth.
This entire project / planet wide suicide mission dose remind me of a former article I once read about the USA and the USSR during the cold war planning to launch nuclear weapons at the moon "To see what would happen" with the risk of it being knocked out of our orbit and causing mass planetwide destruction.
