That's an interesting question. Not sure what a good hivian is or should do. But I do try to add value to the chain, try to write decent posts (I'll admit some are better than others), try to support new dapps arriving at the chain, try to support other people who I do think do have the same mindset.
I do think that Hive is a collection of all kind of small circles, all trying to get attention, interact and build something. Regardless if is a new dapp or a reputation for yourself on Hive.
What I should do better, is to cast my votes more divers, reach out to new people and place more genuine comments. Because we all like comments. I even like comments more than upvotes, because that is (should be) the prove that people do read what I wrote and have an opinion about it.

Currently trying to support a new sports community on Hive, we will see how that goes. And I do know then when I do write about sports, the amount of votes I do get will decrease, but that is a sacrifice I am willing to take. Because the more divers Hive is, the better it is for all Hivians. To bad we don't have Hive while who do support sports. But it is what it is.

Cheers,
Peter
