Sometimes people aren't ready to be loved, and it literally has nothing to do with you. Consider people in abusive relationships. That's an extreme.. but it's a thing we're used to thinking about, how something psychologically causes them to want that. They're not ready to be in a normal relationship. They're more comfortable fighting or whatever.

So then there's another level I think, where if you truly love someone.. some people aren't ready for that level of love. They're more comfortable with something more detached.

Still sucks.

But if you keep scanning the universe eventually you bump into someone who is ready.
