So you would say modern physics is no science, because we don't observe quantum particles, the cosmos or time dilation first-hand?

No point playing a gotcha game about what does and doesn't count. I don't necessarily know enough about each example to have a great answer. If they can be observed, measured, and verified, then that's science. You tell me?

Trusting what someone says is not a scientific way to know something.

Idk why you'd quote and try to challenge that.

Trusting people and taking things on faith is essentially the antithesis of science.

Some of the things actually are.

If this is true you could have mentioned it in the first place.

Instead you gave other examples and conceded that we don't have the tools to measure it ourselves.

That's why I responded that you don't scientifically know it, then. And why there was that whole thing about science vs trust.

And now you're back to saying we can measure it.

I thought we were on the same page that the public can't verify it, and it's a matter of trusting the people with access to the tools. No point to this if you're gonna slither around and try to backtrack on things you previously conceded to. Clicking mute.

I'm a little curious about the gyroscope and might click and check it out. I give you 0 benefit of the doubt and won't be surprised if it's like your other examples and doesn't actually prove anything.

So if you were really determined(and had around 400 $ for equipment(it might be even cheaper today than back in 2010)) you could measure earth's rotation. And proving that all flat earth theories are wrong(all I saw say the earth stands still).

Oh, just rotation. So the possibility that the Earth is flat but spinning is still in play after the gyroscope thing?

The gyroscope thing, then, does not prove it's a sphere.

First the radius and now this. Fascinating how you take things that in no way show it to be a sphere, and try to tell me that this is how I can know it's a sphere.

🙄🙄

Really deceptive and manipulative.

(Probably not intentional. You just desperately want to believe you have proof for this.)

Bye.
