From when I was a child till today, this has always been my favourite Christmas song.
The Christmas season is fantastic and amazing. Christmas is very thrilling because of the joy, happiness, excitement, love, etc. Even though the season is still early, I can already picture myself indulging in many delectable dinners.
A LITTLE TESTIMONY FROM LAST YEAR'S CHRISTMAS
My elder and only brother contacted me on December 2, 2022, the year before, and asked that I send in my shoe size, shirt size, trouser size, and favourite colour. After I sent him the information on the second, he gave me a brand-new pair of Italian shoes, a brand-new Chelsea jersey , a stylish flower shirt, and a brand-new wristwatch that had been imported from New Zealand on the 12th of that same month. When I received these gifts, I was ecstatic.
CHRISTMAS IS LOVE
In actuality, Christmas is a season of love. Even at our church, we play some entertaining games. Names are written on papers and neatly folded. You are to pick any paper and give the person whose name appears on it a special Christmas package. It strengthens the brethren's affection and warmth for one another.
CHRISTMAS SET UP AND STYLES
During the season, cool lights are used to decorate the streets. These lights flash brightly everywhere, filling people's hearts with joy and happiness.
In addition, individuals celebrate by hosting get-togethers, year-end parties, apprentice graduations, and even church services.
CHRISTMAS & THANKSGIVING
Christmas is a lovely time of year as well, when everyone travels back to their hometown to worship and give thanks to their different deities.
Churches, the government, individuals and even families will gather people together and sing hymns and carol songs to God (a form of praise, worship and Thanksgiving).
CHRISTMAS PRACTICES IN MY SIDE
You'll witness a variety of cultural displays as a show of celebration, such as dancing competitions, cultural wrestling, and masquerades.
People used to burn vehicle tyres as a symbol of celebration during this season while I was growing up, but they stopped doing so once the government made them aware of the dangers of the gases that are released during the process.
CHRISTMAS RICE AND STEW
Since rice and stew are the most popular foods during that season, the wealthy will share their rice with others who cannot afford it.
Families create this scrumptious meal/delicacy during Christmas period. In my own side it's like a custom, tradition and belief that one should prepare rice and stew during the christmas season. Christmas is incomplete if rice and stew aren't included.
The red and white hues of the Christmas season are portrayed in the rice and stew.
Large meats, such as chicken, turkey, pork, beef etc., are always used to backup the rice and stews.
CONCLUSION
As we'll soon enter into the season of Christmas, don't forget to put a smile on somebody's face. They care about that happiness, make them smile. Have fun and stay cool.
