You take some of the functional elements of the blockchain or already existing services around it and recombine them in a way that the resulting new function makes something better/easier/cheaper when people use it.

For instance, it would be interesting to have some web analytics for content. You could create a pixel with a cookie that collects different information about users who access a website with that pixel. You offer these pixels to other users who then built it into their content. As soon as someone wants to know what reach their content has, you provide them the stats by creating an individualized post stats which is created automatically. Their payment would be either an upvote or a direct payment, while you create new value in the sense of the blockchain with that stats post.

I lack the programming skills to do create like that, but maybe you or someone else who reads this knows how to do it. There'd certainly be customers for this kind of service.
