Before 1200 years back the King Bhava Deva, the fourth leader of the Early-Deva tradition manufactured that place on 168 square meters of ground. It was the imperial royal residence for the early Buddhist understudies. This site, already called Shalban Rajar Bari, turned out after archeological removal as a Buddhist cloister and thus named as Salban vihara from the earthenware seals and copper plates found. Its unique name should have been Bhava Deva Mahavihara after the fourth lord of the early Deva tradition which managed this locale from the mid-seventh to mid-eighth hundreds of years AD. It was implicit or on the edges of Devaparvata, the Samatata capital circumscribing the Lalambi timberland.
This was before an independent Buddhist cloister where, priests lived, considered and prayed.It was the imperial royal residence for the early Buddhist students.Students from different spots come here for their reflection and religious learning. Amid their investigation period the understudies remain in the quarters/cells around the sanctuary. It's such a very place inside a fruitless timberland and one of the best visitor spots in Bangladesh.
