किसानों की एक समस्या और भी है जिस पर में आपका ध्यान लेजाना चाहता हूं, किसान जब बड़ी मेहनत से जमीन को जोतता है और फिर उसमें बाजार से घण्टो लाइन में लग कर महंगे ओर उन्नत नस्ल के बीज लाकर बोता है और फिर जब 4 महीनों के लंबे इंतजार के बाद जिसमे उसने ना धूप देखी और ना दिन रात,ना भूख देखी ना ही प्यास देखी,तब कही जा कर उसकी फसल लहलहा कर तैयार होती है ,उस लहलहाती फसल को देखकर किसान का मन उम्मीदों से भरता है कि इसे मंडी में लेजाकर अब बेचूँगा ओर उस पेसो से मा का इलाज करवाना,बच्चो के नए कपड़े और स्कूलों की फीस भरना ,घरवाली की जरूरतों की चीजें लाना इत्यादि आदि सपने देखता है लेकिन जब मंडी में जब वो जाता है ओर उसकी फसल आधे दाम में बेचनी पड़ती है तब उसके काफी सपने जो अपनी मेहनत की बदौलत देखे थे ,वो अधूरे ही रह जाते है ,जिससे किसान का खेती के प्रति मोहभंग होता जा रहा है और धीरे धीरे किसान कम होते जा रहे है ,जब देश आजाद हुआ था तब देश 100 प्रतिशत कृषि प्रधान था फिर 1975 के आसपास ये दर 80 प्रतिशत रही और आज केवल 60 प्रतिशत ही है ,ठीक इसके विपरीत खाने वालों की संख्या देश मे आजादी के बाद से तीन गुना बढ़ गयी है जो कि एक बड़ी चिंता का विषय है ।
