The Showdown
[Japanese coming soon]
So I've been busy again :) Here is why. My good friends J&O asked me back in September to paint them a painting, which I have happily accepted... Then they told me they want a copy of my old work from 2012, but BIGGER. I hesitated for a second, but the fact that I only had about 50 euros in my bank account at that point made me say yes.
The reason I hesitated, is that me from 5 years ago... was errr a bit of a purist to put it nicely.
I worked without an underdrawing, without thinking much before hand, and did the whole work completely with just one super thin Japanese brush and one broad brush for the background... I was also super slow.
If I had a time machine I'd go back and punch myself ^^
So here is the process of that work which isn't an exact copy :) It's 80 x 60 cm big.
This is the original from 2012, it's 30 x 40 cm big... it's really nice but I had spent muuuch more time on it.
