I'm new to Steemit and I already have a issue with the login password.
The "Generated Password" that I faithfully copied will not work. Fortunately, I had checked the "Keep me logged in" box and that is the only reason I am able to access Steemit.
Obviously, my computer has the correct password stored in a file somewhere. Does anyone reading this know how to find that file?
If I am unable to solve this any other way does it make sense to delete my account with Steemit and re-apply? If I did that, could I use my same email, phone number, and username? Or, would I have to use a different email, phone number, and username.
If I am improperly formatting my question, using the wrong protocol for submitting my problem, or otherwise in violation of Steemit tradition or rules; I apologize.
Any advice on this issue would be appreciated. I'm sure this is not the only time this situation has occurred and the solution is probably something obvious I have overlooked. But, on the other hand, this particular issue might well be of general interest.
