It has always been said that every crisis brings opportunities, but you have to be very attentive to take advantage of them; In the midst of a situation of economic or health crisis like the one we are currently experiencing, many jobs are lost, many companies and businesses close their doors and with it thousands of opportunities are lost.
It must be said that not everyone is able to overcome a situation like this, nor are they able to visualize business opportunities. When some doors are closed, others will surely open, only in activities other than those we usually do and because we remain anchored to our past we are not able to discern the new opportunities that are generated.
Entrepreneurship in Venezuela.
Finding job or entrepreneurship opportunities that generate good income in Venezuela is a daunting task, unless you want to get involved in illicit activities such as fuel smuggling, illegal mining and any other "stew" that leaves you a good amount of money.
Thanks to Blockchain
Things in Venezuela are very complicated as most know, for some time I have been studying the possibility of transferring some of the income generated in Blockchain to the real world, in the form of an investment that allows me to multiply this income.
Little by little as the need allowed me I was putting aside some of the tokens that I receive on both Steem/Hive platforms.
The savings method used was the rotating savings method that in Venezuela we call "Sam", it consists of an agreement made by 11 people or less and every fifteen days everyone places a stipulated amount of money that is given to one of the participants. it is repeated until the cycle is complete where everyone has received the pool at least once.
My undertaking.
When I received the money from the savings, then I had to try to find an opportunity that would allow me to multiply that little amount of devalued money that at the beginning of the cycle represented $ 80, when I received it it already represented $ 40 only.
After some expenses and deliberations with the family, our adventure as entrepreneurs began, the remaining money we decided to invest in commerce, we bought 30 kg of Cheese to commercialize it informally in the market of San Félix, a city near my place of residence.
The first week the profits were almost nil, but they allowed me to increase the investment and the following week they were not 30 Kg, this time we bought 56 Kg and re-invested in food to sell at our house or exchange them for Cheese.
This week the objective set is to buy between 80 and 100 kg of Cheese and return with a greater quantity of food.
Obstacles to investment.
One of the strongest obstacles that I can identify is the corruption of the system, the amount of money you have to pay in the so-called "vaccines". At the first checkpoint of the National Guard you must "collaborate" with a piece of Cheese, when you return you must "collaborate" with an article of Rice, Sugar, Pasta or Flour.
Then there are some groups called "collectives" to the collectives you deliver a collaboration with some article Rice, Sugar, Pasta or Flour plus cash for each container where we transfer the Cheeses.
To all this we must add the price of transport that is approximately $ 10, a price that is justified by the lack of fuel in the country.
Conclusions.
Starting a business in Venezuela is not an easy task, however I am willing to continue with this work as long as I can sustain the investment and start generating real profits, my future plan is to have a diversified investment, using part of what the investment generates business to invest in Blockchain and grow my account on this platform.
Friends, I will try to tell you later how this investment project is developed; I must say that this project is not just a Blockchain funded project, it is an idea that arises in Project HOPE motivated by so many articles that are written about investment, business and income generation.
Thank you Project HOPE, thank you family!
We are Project HOPE a community that brings hope!
