While the number of infections per day is decreasing in most countries, the number of deaths per day is lower, the concept of the new normality is on the minds of most citizens around the world.
The economy does not seem to endure any more time of stagnation, which is why June seems to be the key month, the deadline when many countries are planning to reopen some sectors of the economy and then gradually adapt to this new normal.
In recent days I wrote an article about the new normality, but when you think about this new reality that we face and try to understand through research what is the scope of this concept that is on everyone's lips today, that's when you understand the magnitude of What is happening, the world has changed and we cannot do anything to remedy it, we just have to adapt.
Ideas for adaptation.
The need forces us to generate ideas to make life a little better, and here I bring you some ideas that are already being implemented in some cities of the world.
Hoods for diners.
Restaurants are one of the economic sectors most affected by the health crisis and social distancing. To solve this problem, interior designer Christophe Gernigon, devised a plexiglass campaign.
They are acrylic glass bells that hang from the ceiling and allow each client to be found under a kind of large visor.
The design will be tested in France and each campaign will cost around $ 164.
Glass cabins.
In Amsterdam the Netherlands, the restaurant the ETEN table tested small cubicles similar to glass cabins, or small greenhouses where two guests can eat while respecting the rules of social distancing demanded by the authorities worldwide.
Another peculiarity of this initiative is that the waiters, in addition to wearing visors, use a long table where they serve food to customers to avoid entering the space of the small glass cabin.
Gastro Safe Zone.
In the Czech Republic, the group of architects HUA HUA Architects; Launched a concept of outdoor food, which seeks to support restaurants and gastronomic businesses affected by confinement measures.
It is a process of demarcation and conditioning of outdoor spaces that allow businesses to offer their service and at the same time comply with physical distance measures.
Conclusions
They are just some of the many ideas that are already beginning to be observed in different parts of the world and that clearly reflect the new reality to which we must adapt.
From parks with demarcated areas, cardboard public in sporting events, widening of roads, redesign of streets, avenues and public boulevards until arriving at the solutions that I show you today, all elements belonging to this new normality.
