Future Museums is the nome de plum of Austin Texas based multi instrumentalist Neil Lord. Under the moniker Lord has released numerous collections of gorgeous looping guitar based ambient works on various labels for years. As of late both Fire Talk & Holodeck records have come into the fold helping get the music out to a wider audience.
This track "Tether" is taken from one of those Fire Talk releases "Mercury White Borneo" and showcases Lord's knack for creating beauty from repetition, layers of loops folding in on each other until they reach an elegant conclusion.
