This giant ring drew lots of attention. I was hoping to see a wedding proposal here. It either didn’t happen or I missed it.

Just last month, February, I took my third trip to Kobe Fruit and Flower Park. I went to see the winter illumination so I got there in the evening. I hadn’t been there in about three years and it was my second time to see the illumination. This year was the eleventh year of the “light -up”. It was different from the one I had seen a few years ago but just as spectacular.
This fountain was stunning. The music playing in this area was in sync with the lights.
The heart-shaped arches created a romantic walk way and entrance to this section of the illumination.
Kobe Fruit and Flower Park
If you’re in Kobe, Japan, you’ll want to make a stop here. The illumination can be observed from about November to February. The park is located in the northern area so it’s much colder than other parts of Kobe at that time of year. There are several other attractions which include an amusement park, a swimming pool, restaurants and a hotel with an onsen. As the name suggests, there are beautiful flowers and fruit picking can be done there from July to October. I imagine there are different fruits each season. I hope to do fruit picking there some day.

The Overall Experience
Music filled the air. Whether or not I felt like dancing, the atmosphere prompted my legs to move to the rhythm and beats. They played quite a few selections from Michael Jackson. If only I knew how to moonwalk, I would have just “beat it”. The atmosphere was romantic, glittering and at the same time, fun-filled. I would say it’s great for friends, couples and family. It’s something to talk about with others. Would I go again? I certainly would.

These colorful and circular lamps were quite inviting. Several kids sat and relaxed on the lower ones.
Which of the above is your favorite? I’d go for the shoe. I think it’s quite classy.
