😃Thank you for the warm welcome. Usually there are stage performances, students dressed in costumes and food stalls with foods from different cultures. I didn’t get to experience much of that this time around but really enjoyed playing a game that the students made from recycled items. It was a big diagonal structure made mainly from wood but also with old classroom supplies. Balls could be inserted from several areas of the top and would roll to the bottom after passing through several obstacles. Players were lucky if the ball went to the “goal”. Depending on the destination of the balls, players would gain a certain number of points. It seemed simple but I imagine it required a level of precision when being built. It was fun. I’d say that was appealing but the general ambience the open spaces and the students’ production all made the experience a lovely one. 🎶
