Words are certainly very powerful.

Take note of the word SUBMIT constantly being used on websites

But I think blog is ok. And post is ok too.

You can read a POST. But you can not read a PUBLISH. That word doesn't work at all...

And you cannot post a new PROFILE each day

After thinking about this idea of replacing the word blog I disagree - what if the next big thing on Hive is MICROBLOGGING?

The idea that words become redundant with time is plain wrong. BOOK is an old word. Should it be replaced just because millenials mostly read on phones? FACEBOOK is very popular despite using the "old fashioned" word book. It's losing it's cred now, but that is not because it uses the word BOOK - it's because they are a propaganda site, and changing the name to FACETEXT or FACEPHONE wouldn't help them!

Or is the word FACE out of date? Should it be replaced with MASK?
