I love oak, the natural look is what I'd go for, I really like being able to see the grains, just a light coat of varnish to protect it, that is perfection, in my opinion. :D They both turned out great though. :D

I'm hoping to make a shoe stand out of oak, if I can find it for a good price, all the shoe stands you can get in stores are junk that fall apart the first time our pack of puppy dogs bangs into them, I need something sturdy like oak so I can actually keep shoes stacked for more than a day. :D LOL. :D

I might have to look back on your videos for ideas/inspiration on making it look good and well put together in the near future. :D
