Today I made a walk along the beach and through the dunes.
On my way back to the car I spotted a fox. I've spotted foxes before in the dunes, but never this close to the path.
Since I 'only' have the kit lens on my Canon M50 I really needed to get in a bit closer to have some nice shots.
I was afraid that the shutter sound would scare him (it could also be a female by the way) away, but luckily that didn't happen.
I tried to get even closer but when I took some more shots I got noticed.
The fox was clearly not impressed.
He just ignored me and walked away quitly.
When he stopped a bit further on I took some more pictures.
I was just 5 or 6 meter away from him. I have never been so close to a wild fox before.
Then I decided to leave him alone and he walked away into the dunes.
It was a really cool encounter.
I will be saving for a zoom lens because I don't think I will always be this lucky.
