Interesting question indeed.
Before watching the video I read the text before, and answered the question for myself.

My answer was, I'll choose to go.
Because I have a tendency to choose the hard path when choice is needed.
Because, despite the hardness it's more fun most of the time, it gives self-fulfillment.
