First a small point of disagreement about the we are all vampires (aka we feed from an external source)

I think that it is a Natural law of the world we live in. (Natural as in flesh / mater).
Everywhere you look this is the same pattern, some being feast of another.

I think we leave the natural state when, we feed for fun, more than needed, by torturing beings by greed and laziness to have them easily at hand for eating…

My guideline would be:

• kill only what you really need,
• kill the more quickly and suffer-less as possible,
• Do no interfere with you pray except at the end (to give them a fully natural life),
• Thanks your prey for his life who will sustain yours.

My hypothesis is than when we leave the world of flesh / mater this law don't apply anymore.

But I agree on the Vampirism, you described with the stem cell, scientific talk. I call it Blood magic.

Because Blood is very energetic,it is used through rituals (witch as you said often involved child) too try to break the natural laws. (age extension, unnatural powers etc…)
And trying or succeeding this process is, I think, the worst insult to Nature.
Btw I'am 100% sure, it's used, despite knowing no one doing this.

On a linked subject this I why one should never give, or receive, blood and organs.
Because even if you ignore the energetic issue, the hole donation business is really shady !
