I was sharing this same idea with one of my students on Monday. He commented that doing the work felt so pointless because once the class ended, no one cares about your work until you graduate. I told him that for me, each class, and each assignment, is an opportunity to increase my knowledge, skills, and understanding, and to grow as a person. Love it!
