Tried the Dangerous Writing app and made it the whole five minutes! As an overthinker, that was tough!
This is my first freewrite post, so if I didn't do it correctly, guidance would be appreciated!

First I gather my ingredients - a little bit of beeswax, some shea butter, a jar of coconut oil, a few assorted bottles of things that excite my olfactories - and a pot that has seen better days. I don't know what I am doing, but I feel like a mad scientist as I head to my kitchen to start the flame under what I hope will be a beneficial concoction. I have scoured the knowledge of those who have gone before me, asking questions, weighing answers, never knowing whom to trust or whom to distrust. Who has thought well-through their scribbled instructions? Who has merely scribbled them? The flame burns hot beneath the wobbling pan, and the water begins to bubble and undulate from the heat. The steam rises, and I quickly pull my fingers back from where I had extended them. I begin to measure ingredients, dropping them one by one into the pot. A teaspoon here, a tablespoon there, a few drops of this, a few more drops of that.

I stare into the silky liquid I have only half-intentionally created as my spoon glides smoothly through the cream-colored solution. The smell wafting to my anticipatory nostrils is a pungent, yet pleasant, interplay of floral and herbal tones, with a hint of sweet honey and a splash of citrus. I smile to myself, pleased with the day's experiment. Is it a medicine? Is it a luxury? That's the beauty of a potion. It could be anything...
