I'm all about solutions and action, and Kevin Dixie is a man to be reckoned with. His program goes to inner city communities, among others, to train parents, young adults, and others in fire arms safety in a valiant effort to reduce gun violence. His approach of education as opposed to legislation is one to be valued. His program also teaches parenting skills in an effort to encourage children grow up in a family unit, or at least a functioning co parent or single parent situation. So often do we talk about doing something meaningful, myself included, only to continue reading on about the next issue of the day and simply ponder. This man does not talk about action, he takes it.
