How funny you would write about this! I was just talking to my son, not ten minutes ago, about this! I think the reason there are so many generations is due to the difference of technology. I was born after Generation X but before Generation Y because I spent the first part of my life without technology. It wasn't until I was a teenager that the internet was around. So my entire childhood was free of distraction. Like you said, it was torturous to have to spend time indoors. Even if all your play ideas ran out and all you had left was to lay on the grass with the sunshine on your face, it was still way better than sitting on the couch. I was really excited when they came out with a different label for the people born in this time period. (not that it's necessary but it's nice to be recognized lol) They called us Zillennials and it made so much sense! It was also nice not to be lumped in with the stigma and generalization of Millennials. haha
