Door knobs and Drum Sticks! A Homestead Special!

This morning came with a special treat! In the course of us finishing up The House That Love Built (that's what we call it...a blog for a different day 😉) the Yeti said if I painted the bathroom door he would...wait for it...

Put on the door knob!

This might seem mundane, but apart from our front door, this is the only other door in our home, and it finally has a knob! Just in case you've had a shortage of miracles or lack experience with door knob putting-ons...I'll take you through it step by step. And don't worry, I took lots of pictures!

1. Start first thing in the morning with sleepy eyes.

2. Take out all the do-dads.

3. Carefully insert the striker.

4. And screw it in place.

5. Place knob on.

6. Screw knob together.

7. To celebrate...air-drum solo to Metallica!!

8. And finally the Yeti holler!

9. Of course I had to pose too!
