I thought it would be a nice time to vlog while I was out feeding the cows. We have moved their hay ring out to the west pasture so when I move it around, it is leaving old hay and manure everywhere, and hopefully helping. I left my boys in the barn and told them that ol' dad was going to film a vlog while I was out there. That is all part of vlogging, just making it happen.
I have been actively vlogging since 2017. I started with simple videos called Mystic Yeti's Morning Coffee, and then it grew into One Yeti's Perspective. Now for this challenge it is Freedompoint's freedom points. If you can think of a better name for this challenge, please let me know.
I had a couple of things happen since we last talked. I managed to really booger up a knife blade during the heat treating process. It's ok though. Everytime I have a set back it helps me to create a better piece. I managed to reheat treat it and now it is getting the scales glued on. It is all going to be alright haha, I can see that you are worried. I have made and sold many knives, I have also thrown quite a bit into the scrap bucket. That's just part of the process.
Something else pretty interesting is Stacie D cut her finger while making dinner. I was walking toward the kitchen and just as clear as day she says "OH NO I CUT MY FINGER, I'm going to pass out" So I went in there and laid her down on the floor so she would bang her head on the way down.
I looked at her finger to start doing first aide. I fully expected a real bloody mess, maybe even some flesh hanging off. Nope. No. It was the equivalent of a good splinter. Looks like she will make a full recovery haha.
With vlogging everyday there has to be some sort of theme, or reason. I have been going back and forth on this, and I think I have come up with what I am doing here. I am being real and available. From the very beginning back in the deep woods of Southern Missouri I have prayed about what I should do. I always felt the same thing. Be real and be available.
I keep that up while dealing with the real world, but now it is all coming to the digital world as well. If I am ever to have an impact on someone, I am going to need to be real and available. So these vlogs are going to be my real life, and my comment sections are always open. And....I can always be reached on discord!
