After more than 600 miles, we finally stopped for showers! At this point it was much needed. We have been traveling, walking, playing....and sweating.
There is no avoiding the heat, so we are just leaning into it. I shaved off my hair, and shaped up a proper beard. We also cut one of our sons hair off. He was super hot and uncomfortable.
The next stop from here is going to be the ocean. I think we will be there in just a couple of hours, but it will be a nice change. We have been through some pretty rough mountains to get here.
The goal for us sharing so much is to encourage others to live their lives. To get out are enjoy the sunshine. To remember that life is beautiful.
