It has been a long couple of days around the farm. Yesterday, one of the new moms laid down...and she is still down. There has been a visit from a vet and alot of effort.
She is such a large and beautiful animal, and her name is Yonder. She isn't a big fan of having alot of people around her. The name is actually a reflection of her actions. She likes to stay at the back of the group, or even walk off away from them. Out Yonder.
Today, the family and I took out fresh water, hay, and some sweet feed. She is way more responsive today, and is even a little feisty. I think with time she will be ok. One day at a time.
