My best pal's name is George, and he has had several unfortunate events in his short five years. It makes me think about how much I love him...even if his life span is only 10-15 years.
Humans are amazing creatures really. We love other humans and we love animals. We give our selves to the idea that "they will just last forever", and sometimes that causes issues.
How is it that we act like we hate other humans, but then keep them alive in nursing homes because we love them. We love our animals too, but it is different because their life spans are so much shorter.
What does it look like to truly love someone or something. Can we really give ourselves to other things? I say yes!!
