When it comes to the things that we give our time to, our marriages/relationships should be at the top of the list. Can you imagine the only thing in this world that actually has value is our time. We sell and trade our time all day to something. Often in exchange for things like money at a job.
Stacie D and I always try to remember that it is time with each other that really helps our relationship to grow. As we continue on our individual journeys, we have to remember to give each other the time and space that may be needed to grow into the person that we are becoming.
It is also the largest aspect to growth. When we share a life with someone we need to spend time with them just to even know and follow who they are. We change everyday, can you imagine how that would add up over the years.
If we didn't just fall in love over night why would we think that the rest of our lives wouldn't take as much time, effort and energy.
