Life is flying full speed ahead and it is time to make some things happen!! Stacie D (
As we are building a community/business, Inner Blocks, we are having to do a bit of waiting. Things take time. Paperwork takes time. Website development takes time. So we end up having to find things to fill our time. I mean, shoot, if we don't then we end up pestering the developer or getting into our own heads.
We already help as farm hands in Northern Michigan, and there has been talk about getting a part time J.O.B...yikes. So instead of going to find work, why not create work! If I am able to go out and do something for someone else, then I am able to do something for myself.
When I was in high school I went to a vocational school for precision machining and everything was focused on metal. Even my science class was just metallurgy. I have been dabbling with metal art on and off since then. Most recently I was making custom knives on our homestead in Southern Missouri.
So the idea now is...do I start creating custom knives again? I love the sharp art. I love how each piece will take on it's own personality. The steel speaks to you and tells you what it wants to be. Dang, I can feel the excitement.... I think I should do it!
