Well, this pandemic is really taking it's toll on people, and I'm not talking about in ways you might think. I think you all know where I stand when it comes to my freedoms and liberties, and also how I feel about western medicine....but you don't see me pushing it on anyone. That's what I want to talk about today.
Yesterday was a bit of a sad day. I have said it from the beginning of this that I fear the virus 0%, but what has my attention is the human animal. I saw some people really baring their teeth yesterday, and even threatening people.
I have been seeing more protests on the news lately, and I even knew someone that went to a protest yesterday. He is a small business owner that made too much to get a stimulus check, and his small business didn't receive any money either. Without it small shop being opened, he is now at risk of his kids not having food and falling behind on his bills.
He is the type of person that believes that people should have the right to choose what they want to do. He is also the type of person to fully support other peoples choices, and will even fight to the death to defend someones rights to do it.
Yesterday he was posting on facebook from the protest. His comment section that is full of "friends" was very ugly. They threatened him, threatened his kids, called for his nurse wife to be fired from her job. It was beyond virtue signaling, it was swinging punches from the moral high ground.
When it comes to the way that this whole thing plays out, in the end will we all be right..... My answer is Yes. We all have our own experience (life) to live out, and it doesn't matter even a little bit what someone else things. We all make decisions that someone views to be a bit alternative. No matter what it is, it is and has to be individual. So what ever information we apply to our lives is our own, and we don't need permission to live out our choices.
What I mean by this is that no matter what we choose, it is our choice. If we choose to wear a mask or not. If we choose to own a house or rent...well shoot, or be a nomad haha. Whether we choose to own a dog versus a cat. Every aspect of our experience is ours to live out.
I am not sure that any one of us has this thing we call life figured out. I have talked many times about this before and about how people project their beliefs on others because they want to be validated in their actions and decisions. We all do this at some point, but we probably shouldn't haha.
So in the end, are we all going to be right about what we chose to do with our lives..... Yes. I don't even know you personally, and I support your decision to be who you want to be. I think the much larger fall out to this pandemic is going to be the broken hearts and the great divide that is going to continue to live in the back of peoples minds. People will remember how the other people acted toward others. It will be something that people will never forget, someones true colors.
When you are out living your best life today, enjoy it. What ever you are doing today, live it to the fullest. Don't worry about projecting your decisions on others, and don't worry about others projecting onto you. There is not one right answer, but countless beautiful experiences.
Be well
