When it comes to cookware, I think cast iron is king.it is simple, beautiful, and versatile. When cared for properly it can last for generations.
Today I am giving a tutorial on how to quickly clean cast iron. It is a method I learned from a friend, and he learned it from his dad many years ago.
The technique involves a hot pan, cold water, and a sturdy spatula. The food pops right off. Then we wipe it down. Add a splash of oil, and it is ready to go.
