So, after seeing me have fun with my crypto investing hobby, and a couple of moderate wins with ETH and more recently STEEM, my awesome children have caught the crypto bug! I decided to give them each 1 bitcoin to invest in whatever alts they find interesting and hopeful.
Tonight, an interesting thing occurred to me when we were scanning the list of coins on Coin Market Cap... and that is the huge advantage that STEEM has over it's competitors with steemit.com.
When you click on Bitcoin's homepage you get an intro video...
When you click on Ethereum's homepage you get a lot of flashy plans of what may one day exist...
When you open steemit.com you are dropped into a functional social network with interesting content, which you can join immediately... for free... and begin participating.
First impressions are very important. Steem wins.
