I think that often money comes from a mixture of good ideas, as well as silly ideas, which are designed to make money. Sometimes money comes from the utility of the idea, whereas in other cases it's simply a good idea only for making money, but for no other cause. Plenty of products and idea fall into each category. I suppose we're getting into semantics of how to define a 'good idea.' The ones that make money are not always better for the world; and sometimes good ideas, even with proper execution, can die because they're not the most profitable.
