Well, it looks like one of the whales has decided to take his thumb off the scales.
Unfortunately, for me, it happened to be the one good whale supporting more than their own personal interests.
Uh-hum, @misterdelegation, we get that you helped put the place in motion, but if you turn something out into the wild, then try to sell it as not domesticated while continuing to try to control who gets anything from it, what do you expect?
You can't sell steem as free, when the folks with outsized advantage use it to keep certain 'undesirable' people from earning.
Until the early adopters take their thumbs off the scales steem will continue to be sycophantic boys' club that doesn't interest anybody but said sycophants.
Not a good path to take to mass adoption, imo.
I still haven't had anybody explain to me why I would buy an SMT.
I get that other front ends are gonna give them out as candy to get subscribers, but why would I buy one?
Thanks for your kindness, @jamesc, but I can't help but thinking that you not voting your stake leaves the greedy whales with a larger portion of the pie.
Instead of lowering the value of the various approved apps' delegations, you have raised them.
