All cultures thrive or die according to their customs.
What we establish as 'normal' on steem will become the culture that keeps us within its lines.
If we eat the producers the non-producers will degenerate into savages.
If we starve the folks that bring folks in to feed folks that only take, steem is gonna have a long, hard row to hoe.
It works the same in real life.
Here is a book that describes it in action.
Here on Steemit we don't like to see folks spamming the comments with links to their posts.
Hopefully by putting brackets around your text and parenthesis around your link, no space.
Newbs,...smdh.
It is this culture of expected standards of behavior that will define our growth.
Will we degenerate into what the corporate controlled social medias have?
Random flaming of posts is just not a thing here.
We will not be a 4chan because we are mostly family oriented, imo.
Like all cultures we must air our foibles or be victims of them.
If we don't seek out those that speak from perspectives other than our own, and help them gain visibility, our culture may devolve into an echo chamber, we shouldn't let that happen, imo.
No rules, no game.
