I was ok with steemconnect, but it seems they have changed and now want us to use Google chrome, and I personally refuse to blend Google into my online activity. I do have firefox that I use for some things I do online, and it has the keychain extension, which I use to log in and do the token stuff, and to log onto palnet but that's it.

I'm very careful, and that's why I'm so reluctant to use any of these apps and sites. Better to be safe than sorry!
