The title of this chapter is "Disavowed". But who is? Koth betrayed us, so we migt disavow him. But we meet a new companion here, and he disavowed the Republic. Is it 1 or the other? Maybe its that its both and thats the over arching theme? Thatd be alright.
But theres more important issue, thats been pointed out in the video - the cutscene danger. I go through all this "having the spirit of the most powerful guy in the galaxy inside me", i bound multiple spirits to raise my power, im expected to defeat Arcann, but in-game im often thrown against things more difficult than this event, and im expected to pull through. All the story seems to just throw the character around like a ragdoll and place him in the position of overwhelming odds just to show us how weak he is and how much he needs the support cast, that gets developped in these scenes. We r no longer a main character - we r a plot device for others. Remember how u had to defeat Dread Masters? There was no 17-chapter-long story how u need to get an army. U got 8 pals and kicked their teeth in. There will be a time when Vitiate asks "why havent u won yet?" The answer is "cuz the script doesnt allow me". And u cant rly blame it on the fact im playing the 3rd lowest dps spec in game, cuz thats not canon.
