Feel really sorry for all the Ukrainians who feel unsafe and uncertain about their future...

What would be most likely to provide a peaceful outcome? To have the two Easter regions have an internatio ally audited referendum on what country they wish to belong to?

Or do the west have no other choice but to stay consistent with their principles and i vite dialogue without giving in to threatening behaviour?
