Well said. I've been here almost 4 years now and in that time I have only invited the people I believed would enjoy writing content, discussing topics with others, and form new connections with people of similar interests regardless of the rewards.

Getting too focused on it can quickly get yourself burned out or frustrated. The reward system is interesting and innovative, but has its flaws too. So I think one has to adjust one's expectations to also take into account that this is an experiment and an early use of a new technology where people decide things. It won't always be fair, but it will be different.

At least I've found that helpful for my own motivation :).
