There is a general misconception that only big businesses can get to outsource and for a very long time entrepreneurs fall into this believe where they feel that it is only big companies who should outsource and then the entire stress and running around of the business gets laid on the shoulder of a single person (the entrepreneur), there are so many levels to hire the staff that will help you in your business.
When growth is intended in the business, definitely there is going to be a need for outsourcing and at first it might not be a full time position but when there is a project that needs to be finished quickly then outsourcing can come to play, you can hire a freelancer that will help you finish up on some quick jobs, most often as a start-up it does not necessarily have to do with getting someone employed on a full time basis.
Delegating tasks and utilizing other people’s talent is a scalable height toward growth in your business, when tasks are delegated to other people, it provides you with the option as an entrepreneur to get focused on the other things that matters in the business. Trying to carry out every task at the same time, isn’t good enough for a visionary of the business, there are things that you are perfect at as an entrepreneur, the appropriate thing is to get people to work in those areas where you are not perfect.
My advice is not for you to jump right at getting someone employed when you start a new business especially when you know that the business is really small and you can joggle the activities in the business all by yourself but do not just neglect the signs that are glaring enough for you to hire that extra helping hand.
When it becomes too burdensome to deal with and when you figure out that your level of productivity is regularly declining since you are trying to cover up everything that you may possibly be unable to cover. Getting someone to fill in the void of the areas where you might not be too efficient does not in any way make you a less entrepreneur, it rather even makes you a super and strong boss.
When you make up your mind to get someone to hire that could perfectly fit into the desired position, then you have an assignment to carry out a proper check on the individual to be employed before you sign an agreement, you need to be sure that you are getting a very good value for the best possible price.
