New week and new Splinterlands challenge, this time with the LIFE deck card, Temporal Master, but before that a small update regarding the end of season rewards: They have been totally disgusting rewards, out of 54 GOLD chests, I didn't get ANYTHING worthwhile, it was even insulting to open those 54 chests and not have won anything relevant. End of the press release. Anyway, returning to the previous topic, Temporal Master is a card with one of the most controversial abilities of the whole game: "Recharge", an ability that I personally don't dislike, however, in this card in particular it doesn't call my attention. Temporal Master is not one of my favorite cards, in fact I use it very little, but surprisingly in today's battles it was very useful, especially in the first battle, since it was practically the card that helped me to have the victory. Therefore, these are the best battles of Temporal Master:
In this first battle because the "Melee Mayhem" rule was active, I wanted to prioritize using, at least mostly, very powerful Melee cards, however I counted that my opponent was going to use the summoner who has the ability to add "Thorns" to his cards, so any physical damage to his cards would be counterproductive to my cards, however, in the end, with some luck I was able to win this battle. And this was my strategy: In first position I placed a very old and classic card of all Splinterlands: Goblin Tech, which is a very powerful Melee card, which has a good amount of life points, a very high shield level and a powerful attack, making this card as one of the most powerful cards of some years ago and nowadays it is still a very powerful card, that knowing how to use it can help you win games very easily. In second position Chaos Knight was the chosen card, its abilities as "Shield" make it a resistant card despite its "low" amount of life points, although it makes up for it with a decent amount of shield points.
However, it makes up for these shortcomings with its second ability "Giant Killer", which is a card that can be very lethal and unexpectedly the card that can eliminate most enemy cards if given the right opportunity. In third position, since I really like the "Sneak" ability, I put Silvershield Assassin, a pretty good Melee card that also has the "Double Strike" ability, so the double damage it can cause is very useful. Since most of the cards in this battle are Melee I had to boost their attacks, so Silvershield Knight was the perfect card thanks to its "Inspire" ability, boosting its Melee attacks. The next two cards are not Melee and the next card of my choice is the protagonist of the week: Temporal Master, a magic attack card, with the "Recharge" ability, which is not my favorite card, but as I mentioned before, in this battle this card surprised me and maybe it has more potential than I thought. And in the last position I placed a card that in the end was of great help, since with its ability "Tank Heal" made me resist the ability "Thorns" of my opponent for a longer time, thus giving me the victory and that card is: Venari Crystalsmith.
This second card was quite easy, to the point that my opponent could not eliminate any of my cards and I was really surprised again in this battle, since the "Noxxious Fumes" rule was active, at least I expected that at least two of my cards would be eliminated due to both the enemy attack and the poison, but in the end that was not the result. In first position, a card that was in the first position was repeated: Silvershield Knight, since with its ability "Inspire" it was going to help, in addition to empower itself, also to do it with the next two cards that have the ability "Sneak". Being those two cards: Feral Spirit and Stitch Leech, two cards that were very lethal due to all the damage they caused to my opponent's cards.
In fourth position is the main card of the week: Temporal Master, as I mentioned before, this card surprised me a lot, although I still don't like it very much, I think that if I learn to use it in a better way, I can get a lot out of it and make very good and effective plays. In penultimate position I put what I think is the MVP card of this battle, because thanks to his ability "Cleanse" he was able to neutralize the poison that was affecting all the cards and that's why Silvershield Knight was not damaged to the point of being eliminated and I think that's why I could win this battle so easily. And in last position, since I had nothing else to place, is the classic 0 mana cost card: Soul Fiend.
