Another week and another Splinterlands challenge, this time using a card from the WATER deck which I use regularly because it is very useful in battle due to its abilities like "Cleanse" and "Amplify" and that card is: River Nymph, a magic attack card that despite having little amount of life points (only 3) is due to its abilities that this card is very useful, plus it is also useful because of its low mana cost (4 mana points). Anyway, these are today's River Nymph battles.
In this first battle I focused on using mostly Magic Attack cards, so the whole formation, except for the card in last position, are cards of that style and the strategy was as follows: In first position I placed one of my favorite legendary cards from the WATER deck: Djinn Oshannus. One of the most complete and solid cards in terms of Stats and abilities, this card is very powerful and when used in the right way, with the right strategy and other cards that support it, it is totally lethal. In second position I placed a card that needs a lot of presentation, I just have to say that it is one of my favorites of all my collection and a very special card for me: Spirit Miner. In third position is another of the Magic Attack cards of this formation: Venari Wavesmith, this is a super useful card in battle if you have a more defensive strategy thanks to its ability "Protect".
In the next position I put the main card of the challenge of the week: River Nymph. In penultimate position is the last Magic Attack card of the battle: Ice Pixie, a somewhat old card, but quite useful and what I like most about this card is its low mana cost, only 2 mana points costs to use this card. And in last position I put the only card that is not Magic Attack type, that card is: Cruel Sethropod. My decision to use in almost all the formation of this battle Magic Attack cards, is that being active the battle rule "Super Sneak", I thought that my opponent could use in last position a card with the ability "Thorns", so if I placed only Melee type cards I would have disadvantage, although in the end my opponent did not use cards with that ability.
This second battle is the opposite of the first one, because this time all the cards, except for River Nymph, are Melee cards and they are also low mana cost cards because in this battle the "Little League" Rule was active and therefore the strategy was as follows: In the first position I placed a card that although it has been in my collection for quite some time, it was not until almost 2 months ago that I started to use it more frequently and I had not noticed how useful this card is, since with its ability "Heal", it allows you to resist several enemy attacks. In the next two positions I placed cards with one of my favorite abilities, an ability that I have mentioned several times that I really like: "Sneak" and the cards chosen with that ability are: Uraeus and Pelacor Bandit respectively.
In fourth position I placed the main card of this week's challenge: River Nymph, a Magic Attack card excellent for when Battle Rules of this style are active. And in the last two positions I placed two more cards of Melee type, but that in turn have the ability "Opportunity", which I like combination with "Sneak" and those cards are: Feasting Seaweed and Parasitic Growth.
