Another week and another Splinterlands challenge. This week has been pretty good regarding the ranking, although almost all day yesterday and part of today I could not play because there were internet problems in the city, just a moment ago when everything was solved I caught up with the game and I was winning some games. Today the challenge is with the card: Magi of Chaos. A pretty good magic attack card, that I use in several occasions in my battles, today these are the battles using this card:
In this battle, as in the second one, I decided to use the LIFE type summoner. I wanted to take advantage of the fact that it was my Focus and I wanted to win as many points as possible and this is the strategy: In first position I placed one of the most classic BETA cards of the LIFE deck: Silvershield Knight, a card that I always like to use when I choose any LIFE summoner and a very old card that despite the bad balance of the game nowadays, it is still a useful card. In second position, I placed the main card of today's challenge: Magi of Chaos, which is a pretty good magic attack card and although I prefer to use it with the Obsidian summoner, in this battle it was very useful. In the next two positions I placed two cards with the "Sneak" ability, to take advantage of the "Inspire" ability of Silvershield Knight, and those cards are: the classic, Feral Spirit and a more current card: Stitch Leech. In the penultimate position to counteract the "Explosive Weaponry" battle rule. A card with the ability "Tank Heal": Venari Crystalsmith. And in last position: Silvershield Bard, actually I put this card because I couldn't think of anything else.
In this second battle I used again a LIFE type summoner, but it is the legendary summoner: GrandMaster Rathe which is a card that since I have it in my collection has been extremely useful. But anyway, my strategy for this second battle was the following: Since the "Earthquake" battle rule was active, I had to use cards with the "Flying" ability to counteract the damage, although not all the cards I used have that ability. Ok, in first position I placed one of my new favorite cards from the LIFE deck: Uriel The Purifier, an excellent and very useful card, as it has several very useful abilities. In second position, to help the attack, a card with the abilities "Reach" and "Flying": Luminous Eagle. In third position could not miss the card that I always like to use in combination with Uriel The Purifier, as I consider that these cards make a very useful and effective combination, that card is: Adelade Brightwing. In fourth position is the protagonist of the Splinterlands challenge of the week: Magi of Chaos. In penultimate position, since as I mentioned before, the "Earthquake" battle rule was active, both me and my opponent had to use cards with the "Flying" ability, therefore, to counter my opponent's cards, I had to use a card that had the "Snare" ability, since with that ability I could totally eliminate my opponent's "Flying" ability, and therefore the chosen card that has the "Snare" ability is: Evangelist. And in the last position, since I had in mind that Uriel The Purifier should survive as long as possible, I used a card with the ability "Tank Heal" and that card is: Venari Crystalsmith.
